Friedrich Wilhelm von Lindeiner-Wildau
Calm, cool, well dressed and a very esteemed looking officer with impeccable English speaking skills. He appears very kind and sympathetic to prisoners and POW’s, letting them play volleyball and volunteering for work rather then forced labor. The Red Cross visits every Saturday and sometimes Sunday to insure the occupants receive mail and get medical attention.
However, seemingly regretfully his jurisdiction is only from within the camp, and not in the outlying areas such as “intense punishment camp” or the compound beyond it. He emphasized the treatment received outside of his jurisdiction will “not be as kind” and encouraging prisoners to play by the rules and wait out the war here in safety.
